Traci Duff
Co-Creator, Traci-Scott Salon
Stylist/Colorist
Massage Therapist
Traci views hair as her artistic medium. She
loves her profession both for its creative outlet and the chance to
enhance the lives of her clients. Traci enjoys that they leave the
salon feeling refreshed, and has made it a personal goal to avoid
the superficiality so pervasive throughout the industry.
She exudes a warmth and integrity that invites clients to get
comfortable. Her self-described approach to hairstyling is
artistically organic, natural with an edge. She works with the
hair's natural tendencies, and won’t force artificial shape or
texture. Also, her color clientele recognize her innate ability to
make color appear free of artificiality.
A thorough listener, Traci is dedicated to creating unaffected cuts
that her clients can easily replicate at home, and is adamant about
giving her clients what they want, not what she wants.
Adding to her unique repertoire are the shoulder, neck, and scalp
massages each and every client receives before a haircut with Traci
. In fact, as Traci is also a Registered Massage Therapist, her
clients often choose to incorporate a full body or chair massage
into their scheduled services, an option made available after she
recognized the need to increase rejuvenation and decrease the stress
level of her clientele.
Ultimately, Traci hopes to provide each client that sits in her
chair with a totally relaxing experience, an unexpected respite from
a hectic lifestyle, and of course, beautiful hair...

Scott Faber
Co-Creator, Traci-Scott Salon
Stylist/Colorist/Yoga Instructor
When clients learn that I've been in the beauty
industry for more than 20 years, they sometimes ask if I am bored
yet....I always respond "Never"!
Our salon has surpassed it's sixth anniversary
and Traci and I are so proud of all we've accomplished so far!
Educating and motivating the people I care about has always been
incredibly important to me, and I look forward to sharing this
experience with our clientele. I believe that clients are the most
important reasons we have become so successful. The hair-style
is something a client has to be able to reproduce themselves.
It can look great when they leave the salon...but what happens the
next day? Our clients are crucial to our success, and I try to
teach each person how to replicate what we do in the salon.
It's not only about what the latest starlet is wearing in Hollywood,
it's about what works best with a client's facial structure, hair
type, and daily time limits for getting ready every morning.
My clients have become my friends over the years and my time is
dedicated to each client during their scheduled appointments with
me. One client at a time is how I believe we can give the best
service available to our clients. Each haircut and hair color
is tailored to my clients specific needs and enhances their inner
beauty as well as their outer beauty. Listening to the client
is one of the most important qualities Traci and I share with our
team.
I've had the opportunity to appear on local television
stations as well as in an infomercial here in Houston, and while I
think it's great for stylists to cultivate P.R. about themselves and
their salons, I believe the best P.R. you can have are your clients.
Word of the mouth is the most valuable advertising a stylist can
have. Each day brings something new and
special with each client that returns to our salon. So how
could I ever be bored?...

Amelia Gorzycki
Stylist/Colorist
Amelia is an artist in the true sense of the word; she includes the
study of Fine Arts at the collegiate level among the multiple layers
of training and experience she's cultivated throughout her 10 year
career. Inspired by nature and all things organic, she considers her
background of national and international education with Aveda and as
an educator for MOP critical to her current level of expertise.
Her love of fashion and trend-spotting ability led her to pursue
editorial work, and she has spent time on photo shoots throughout
the United States. Additionally, her altruistic side has gotten her
involved with charitable organizations like Child Advocates and
Muscular Dystrophy Association, through which she is proud to give
back to her community by serving children in need.
Amelia is driven to provide the ultimate in client care and service,
and feels that the experience her clients have when they visit her
is of paramount importance. She offers a full range of color,
highlights, cutting, long hair dressing for special occasions, and
is adept at color corrective services.
Amelia has known Traci and Scott for eight years and was delighted
to open Traci-Scott salon with them in 2003. She finds the working
atmosphere here to be the happiest she has ever known, and believes
the love and support so clearly felt among the staff to be nearly
tangible to the clientele, enhancing a visit to the salon from
beginning to end.
